Bwindi National Park is a magnificent verdant swathe across the steep ridges of the Albertine rift valley, the ancient rain forest that survived the last ice age is situated in the south western Uganda on the edge of western Rift valley.
It covers 331 square kilometers in size; it is on altitude range of 1160M to 2607m above sea level. The steep forest hills will definitely camouflage the wondrous mountain Gorillas in the vegetation, to give you the inspiring moment that you have been looking for. This forest alone is a home to over 50% of 800 mountain gorillas in the world. It is extraordinary amazing to sit in the dense rain forest among these giants as they grumble to each other as you marvel at the sheer size of the dominant male more so when you realize that they are only 800 remaining mountain gorillas in the world.
